To find out how many calories you should have, first start with where you are. In other words, find out how many calories are needed to maintain the current size and then reduce from there. You can go about this in many ways. Most people choose an arbitrary number like 1200 calories and that’s what they eat, but in almost all cases it is not enough calories to ensure adequate nutrition, not to mention the lack of decisive.

While losing weight and to this day, I eat more than 2000 calories per day on average, and I maintain a good weight for my height more than 17 years. Remember, your body needs calories to maintain itself.

Basic Calorie Requirements calculation based on Activity Level:

Regular: 13 x weight = Avg. cal / day

Settled not exercise at all

Simply Active: 16 x Weight = Avg. cal / day

Active enough exercise about 3-4 times a week

Very active: 19 x Weight = Avg. cal / day

Highly active 5-7 weight training sessions per week.
